Food Poisoning- Food born illness

It is a problem which we have to face generally in summer. The main cause of this is contaminated food and water with bacteria, viruses,parasites or toxins. Like E-COLI,LISTERIA,SALMONALA-these bacteria are the biggest cause for this.These bacteria enter our body through poisonous food.Similarly some parasites come in our body through dirty hands or dirty utensils.Some parasite stay in intestine for long period of time like TOXOPLASMA .Low immunity level people and pregnant women have high chance of food poisoning.

     NORO viruse is also cause of food poisoning

SOME COMMON FACTS RELATED TO FOOD POISONING:- 
  
In India about 10 million or more cases related to this.
*SPREADS THROUGH CONTAMINATED FOOD
*GENERALLY SELF-TREATABLE
*USUALLY SELF-DIAGNOSABLE
*LAB TESTS RARELY REQUIRED(if condition is serious of a patient or fluid level decreasing fastly)
*GENERALLY RESOLVES WITHIN FEW DAYS OR WEEKS

 SYMPTOMS:-

vomiting
diarrhoea
cramping
nausea

 In this condition person or patient may be experience dehydration in case of  loss of water through vomiting,dizziness,loss of appetite, weakness, or sweating,excessive thirst, fever, may be feel pain in abdomen areas,headache is also common in this situation.


MAINTAIN YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE DURING FOOD POISONING:-

1.Stay away from solid and high fat food.Digestive and low fat food should be eaten.
   
     PREFERENCE-banana,rice,oats,boil vegetables,juice made of fresh fruits.
       
Stay away from milk,cheese,fatty foods,oily food(junk food),alcohol,nikotin,caffein and sweet things.
*DRINK FLUID AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE BUT NOT TOO MUCH(in case  loss of water in your body ,people have to maintain their water level)

use fluids and dry fruits in summer as breakfast.
